Terms and Conditions

1. Services

Elite Tree Service provides tree removal, trimming, debris hauling, and related services throughout Pennsylvania. We agree to provide these services professionally and in accordance with industry standards.

Our commitment: We'll start the work within 1-2 weeks of agreement, and the job isn't finished until the customer is satisfied.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Elite Tree Service are based on our assessment of the work required and are valid for 30 days from issuance unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing if:

• The scope of work changes from what was initially quoted
• Hidden conditions are discovered that affect the difficulty or scope of work
• Access to work areas becomes restricted in ways not apparent during the initial assessment

Any changes to pricing will be communicated before additional work is performed.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• For jobs under $1,000, full payment is due upon completion of work
• For jobs over $1,000, a 50% deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion
• For larger projects, a custom payment schedule may be established in the service agreement

We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. A service fee may apply for credit card transactions.

Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance.

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans may change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made 48+ hours before scheduled service: No cancellation fee
• Cancellations made 24-48 hours before scheduled service: 25% of the quoted price may be charged
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled service: 50% of the quoted price may be charged

Elite Tree Service reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to inclement weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances without penalty.

5. Property Access and Preparation

The customer agrees to:

• Provide clear access to work areas
• Remove vehicles, personal property, and other obstacles that might impede work
• Clearly mark property lines and inform us of any underground utilities, septic systems, or other hidden features
• Secure pets and ensure they remain away from work areas

Elite Tree Service is not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities, property features, or items not removed from the work area.

6. Liability and Insurance

Elite Tree Service maintains comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

While we take every precaution to protect your property, some landscape impact is inherent in tree work. We are not responsible for:

• Lawn damage caused by equipment necessary to complete the contracted work
• Damage to plants, shrubs, or landscape features that must be disturbed to access work areas, when such access requirements were disclosed before work began
• Damage to underground items not properly marked or disclosed to us

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize impact on your property.

7. Permits and Regulations

Unless otherwise specified in writing, the customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits for tree work. Elite Tree Service will comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing our services.

If a permit is required but not obtained, or if work must stop due to regulatory issues not caused by Elite Tree Service, the customer may still be responsible for payment for work completed and costs incurred.

8. Warranties

Elite Tree Service warrants that all services will be performed in a professional manner according to industry standards. For tree removal and trimming, we guarantee the specified work will be completed as agreed.

This warranty does not cover:

• Natural processes such as regrowth after trimming
• Weather-related damage to trees after our service
• Disease or insect infestation that occurs after our service

9. Website Use

The content on our website is for informational purposes only. We strive to provide accurate information, but we make no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of this information.

Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We reserve the right to modify the contents of our website at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Elite Tree Service or our content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Elite Tree Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

Elite Tree Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services or website.

In no event shall our total liability for all claims related to our services exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Force Majeure

Elite Tree Service shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, flood, accident, and strikes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
